- SeoulTech-KIRAMS Graduate Medical Sciences was established through collaboration between SeoulTech (Seoul National University of Science and Technology) and KIRAMS (Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences), aiming to foster global talents who will lead the development of medical science through regional connections with universities, hospitals, and research institutes. The graduate school provides a research and education foundation for developing and advancing innovative medical science technologies by converging various fields such as basic biology, precision chemistry, biophysics, AI and data science, electronics and ICT, and etc. In addition, it focuses on fostering creative and convergent talents who can lead cutting-edge research in various fields such as clinical medicine, innovative new drugs, radiological diagnosis and treatment, and medical policy.
- The core talent training fields are divided into four major areas: basic life sciences, new drug development, treatment/diagnosis development, and medical policy and regulation, and are based on various academic fields such as developmental biology, genetics, immunology, radiotherapy, medical devices, and regulatory science. Through the curriculum of this graduate school, students will acquire fundamental medical science knowledge and grow into talents who lead innovation in various medical fields through research utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as synthetic biology, biomedical material development, AI-based new drug design, radiation intensive treatment, and etc.
